Update (November 30, 2022): WOW. One day, one mission, one big thank you. The ACDA raised $1,580 for #GivingTuesday2022! What an incredible amount! Our thanks to the generous donations in honor of Finley, Ronan S., Chelsea, Annabelle, Xavier K., Callie, Cole and Sadie (a total of 8 honorees!). The money raised will be contributed directly to ACD research and supports the efforts of the medical community to find the cause of and cure for ACD. Please also let us know if you raised money in honor of a child not listed above as we know there were numerous fundraisers and we want to be sure we recognize all honorees.

Update (November 22, 2022): It’s coming! We’ve got just one week until one historic day of giving. Please help us successfully kick off the holiday giving season by supporting the ACDA on Tuesday, November 29, 2022 for #GivingTuesday!

Background: GivingTuesday is a global generosity movement unleashing the power of people and organizations to transform their communities and the world. GivingTuesday was created in 2012 as a simple idea: a day that encourages people to do good. Over the past few years, it has grown into a global movement that inspires hundreds of millions of people to give, collaborate, and celebrate generosity. The ACDA raised $2,500 (2019), $2,300 (2020) and $2,105 (2021) on this one day alone! A contribution in any amount (no matter the size) will help the ACDA sustain its research grants for the upcoming year.

• When: The Tuesday following Black Friday  (November 29 in 2022)
• Where: Everywhere. Organizations all over the world participate

The biggest giving month of the year is right around the corner. In fact, about a third of all charitable giving happens in December. Please help us successfully kick off the giving season by promoting the #GivingTuesday campaign on November 29, 2022 in support of the ACDA.
