The American Thoracic Society (ATS), with co-funding by the Alveolar Capillary Dysplasia Association (ACDA), is currently accepting applications for up to $50,000 for scientific research studies and/or clinical research studies related to Alveolar Capillary Dysplasia/misalignment of the pulmonary veins (ACDMPV). The ATS encourages all U.S. and international researchers interested in studying ACDMPV to consider applying for 2026-2027 funding.

Proposals should have a high likelihood of advancing the understanding of ACDMPV through basic, translational, or clinical research. Priority will be given to projects focused on the potential treatment of ACDMPV, rather than cause, early detection or diagnosis. Procedures or proposed therapeutic trials may be new, based on recent biochemical or pharmacological evidence, or in preliminary stages of clinical investigation.
